Julia Geisman, Founder of CareerAgility LLC, will be leading a workshop for our members on inclusive thinking. Inclusion is more than a word – it is mindset. It is synonymous with having an equitable workplace, personal and team success, and dynamic leadership. An inclusive mindset consists of five characteristics when combined lead to new possibilities, greater creativity, innovative solutions, and increased performance.

The 60-minute interactive webinar is designed for everyone regardless of their position. It combines concepts with breakout exercises, individual exercises, group discussions, and an action plan. People from different backgrounds have an opportunity to expand their network, build relationships, and learn from others’ experiences and perspectives.

About the Presenter

Julia Geisman, Founder of CareerAgility LLC, believes that building and sustaining an inclusive and equitable workplace is a business imperative. With over 20 years of experience, she uses an integrated approach to show companies how to enhance individual, team, and organizational performance. Her diverse experience gives her the ability to work with all levels in a company including executive teams and senior leadership.

Her expertise includes diversity, inclusion and belonging, leadership development, career management, cross-gender communication, assessment development, leadership development, career management, staff development workshops, change management, group facilitation, strategic planning for employee development, organizational readiness, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution.

She has conducted a wide variety of workshops and webinars both nationally and internationally. They include such topics as team dynamics, change management, conflict resolution, team building, motivation, and listening for understanding. Geisman frequently participates in panel discussions regarding gender equity and advancing women and is frequently interviewed for podcasts on the topic creating an inclusive work environment.

Geisman has a Masters Degree in Organizational Management and Development, and has been an adjunct lecturer at Boston University’s Graduate School of Management, Suffolk University, and a guest lecturer at Bentley University. Currently, she is on the faculty at Wentworth Institute.
